Request data deletion

Effective

You have the right to ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you — under the EU GDPR (Article 17), the California CCPA / CPRA, US state privacy laws, and Meta's Platform Policy for apps that use Facebook Login. This page describes what gets deleted, how long it takes, and how to submit a request.

1. What gets deleted

On verification of your request, we delete every record tied to your account and workspace:

  • Your user profile (name, email, hashed password, avatar).
  • Your workspace and every transaction, order, invoice, product, employee, and inbox item within it.
  • All connected-integration credentials (Shopify, Mercury, Slash, Zendrop, PayPal, Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4). The upstream accounts stay intact — we only wipe our stored tokens.
  • AI usage logs, chat history, and agent memory.
  • Audit logs and notifications.
  • Preference data (UI settings, dashboard layouts).

Anonymized, aggregated analytics (counts that do not identify you) are not deleted — they cannot be linked back to you. Backups rotate every 90 days; your data is removed from live systems immediately and from backups within that window.

2. How to request deletion

2.1 If you have an active account

Sign in at app.clearcount.ai and use the in-app option:

  1. Go to Settings → Project.
  2. Scroll to the Data Management section.
  3. Click Delete Everything.
  4. Type DELETE ALL DATA to confirm.

This immediately removes every row tied to your workspace. Your workspace record is kept for audit purposes for 90 days and then purged. Your user login is preserved so you can reconnect later — if you want the login removed too, submit the form in Section 3.

2.2 If you signed in via Facebook / Google / Apple and never completed setup

If you authorized ClearCount through a social login but never signed in afterwards (or can't access the account now), use the form in Section 3. We'll look up your record by the email address on file with that provider and delete it.

2.3 If you need us to handle it manually

Email privacy@clearcount.ai from the email address on your account. Subject line: "Data deletion request".

3. Request form

If you can't use the in-app option, submit the form below. We verify ownership by email before acting on the request, so include enough detail that we can match it to your account.

If you connected via Facebook/Google and aren't sure what email we have, paste your Facebook user ID or the email you used to sign in.

By submitting you confirm you are the account holder or their legally-authorized representative.

4. Timeline

  • GDPR requests: we respond within 30 days (Article 12). In complex cases we may extend by a further two months with notice.
  • CCPA requests: we respond within 45 days. The window may be extended once by 45 additional days with notice.
  • Meta Platform deletions: we confirm the deletion to Meta within 30 days of their request, per their Platform Policy.
  • Backup purge: live-system deletion is immediate; full purge from rolling backups completes within 90 days.

5. For Meta / Facebook users

Meta requires that apps using Facebook Login provide a way for users to request data deletion. You can either:

  • Remove ClearCount from your Meta Business Tools settings (this revokes our access to your Facebook data but does not delete already-synced records stored in our database — use this page to complete the deletion),
  • Use the form in Section 3,
  • Email privacy@clearcount.ai with your Facebook user ID or email.
